Flash of Elegance is based in Crowborough, and Mark and Claire hire out their whole collection for christenings, birthdays, baby showers and weddings in the town. They hand-crafted the collection themselves, and our christening, birthday and Christmas packages include setup, styling and collection, so there is nothing for you to build on the day.
Candy cart and hot chocolate bar hire
Our candy cart is a white cart with a striped canopy, and it can be hired three ways. Take it as a prop to dress and stock yourself, have it filled with a selection of sweets, or turn it into a hot chocolate bar with marshmallows, toppings and syrups. We style it to the colours of your party, and for Christmas it can become a pancake bar or a festive dessert display.
A doughnut wall for the sweet table
The doughnut wall stands beside the cart as a second sweet station. It comes in a standard size and a large size, dressed with florals and themed styling, with a personalised sign if you would like one. Doughnuts are not included as standard, but we can arrange them, and other sweet treats may be available instead.
The Bloom Bar at a baby shower
Our Bloom Bar lets guests make their own hand-tied bouquet from fresh flowers and take it home. It is the centrepiece of the baby shower package, together with a Baby Vest Bar, where guests decorate vests for the new arrival, a customised welcome sign and a luxury backdrop.
Christenings and birthdays
The christening package and the birthday party package both bring the candy cart and doughnut wall together with a welcome sign, a styled backdrop, LED letters, a prosecco wall and a lockable post box. Balloon styling can be added to either.
A note on Crowborough's halls
Each hall in the town sets its own rules. The town council's Whitehill Centre, for example, does not allow alcohol, so a prosecco wall there is filled with fruit juice or soft drinks, which our prosecco wall already offers.
Book from your local event hire
Send us your date and the hall you have booked, and we will reply with ideas and a quote. Past setups are in the gallery.
