This policy explains what happens to the details you give us through this website. Flash of Elegance is run by Mark & Claire, 4 Eridge Drive, Crowborough, TN6 2TJ, United Kingdom. We decide how your details are used, which makes us the data controller under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
Only what you type into our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, the kind of event, what you would like to hire and your message. If you email or phone us instead, we have whatever you send us that way.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and, if you book, arrange your event. That is either taking steps you have asked for before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Who else handles it
The form is sent through Web3Forms, which delivers it to an email inbox managed for us by our web developer, Seonat Ltd. The website is hosted by Vercel. Each handles your details only to do that job for us. Some of these services may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tracking. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to a booking for up to 12 months. If you book with us, we keep the records we need for as long as the law requires, usually six years for accounts.
